About Chad Toney

Chad lives in Kansas City, MO with his wife, two kids, a black Labrador, and an oppressive mortgage. He graduated from Southern Illinois University with a BA in German and a Masters in Business Administration.

Chad is a PK (pastor's kid) and was raised by loving, Christian parents who instilled in him a dedication to the Bible and a relationship of faith with Jesus Christ. It was on this foundation of evangelical Protestantism that Chad began studying the claims of the Catholic Church and realized the necessity of Sacred Tradition and submission to an authority passed on from the apostles themselves. Chad officially entered the Catholic Church on the feast of Sts. Peter and Paul, June 29th, 2006.

Chad enjoys micro-brewed and imported beers, music, movies, books, armchair theology, downhill skiing, attempts at fitness, and rough-housing with his kids.

Chad has spoken on the subject of his conversion on Catholic Radio, and is available to give talks on the subject or related Catholic/Evangelical issues.
